He is the new talk-of-the-tinsel town, the happy-go-lucky model Ayaz Khan, who recently set off his journey to movie fame with his much acclaimed movie, Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na. Down-to-earth Ayaz revealed more about himself to

How did it all start with you?
I was in college when one of my friends, Akashdeep Sahgal, asked me to join Gladrags just for the fun of it. I consented, and even before I realised what was happening, I was chosen as one of the runner-ups. From then on, I have never looked back.
From modelling to T.V., and now films, how has been the journey so far?
Well, to be frank, it was good and a great learning experience. It was like a dream come true. After all, everyone wants to become a Bollywood actor.
People often believe that a good model is not a good actor…
I am as good an example as any, to prove to the contrary.
Which has been the most interesting campaign that you have done so far?
The TATA-AIG campaign.
What is the one thing that you feel like changing about this glamour industry?
Not about the Industry, but I would like to change the people's perception about the industry. We are either Gods or promiscuous. It doesn't have to be that way. We are humans at the end of the day.
The best thing that has happened to you so far…
My role in the film Jane Tu Ya Jane Na.
In order of preference for acting, how would you rate these: comedy; action; suspense; melodrama?
Comedy, suspense, action, melodrama (preferably, I would avoid melodrama).
A movie you wish that you had worked in, and as what character?
Raj of Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.
What is the current project that you are working on?
‘Clinic All Clear’ ad opposite Asin (have also paired opposite Aamir Khan in Ghajini).

Not too long, not too short.
Diet that you follow:
Do not overeat, but eat everything.
Exercise regime that you follow:
Workout at least 3-4 times a week.

Casual.

Black.

Be comfortable in whatever you wear.

Animal prints.

Sky-diving.
