Catch the sexy star talking about his journey from modelling to Bollywood; his experiences in life and about his likes and dislikes.

How did your journey start towards fame?

After winning the 'Gladrags Manhunt Contest 2003', I got my first assignment, which was a TV commercial for Mahindra Bolero but what shot me to fame was the pardesia remix song, shot with Rakhi Sawant. This followed by a couple of other projects before Dhokha and now I have Horn OK Please, which is a very interesting project.

Your first movie Dhokha did not do well at the box office, yet your work was appreciated. What do you have to say to that?

It was quite obvious to me that Dhokha was going to be a critically acclaimed film but I needed a break to prove that I could act. Dhokha gave me that platform and I was able to prove that models can be good actors.

What would you like to change about Bollywood?

People and their attitude towards you and the way they treat things are forever changing all the time. I wish I could rationalise their behaviour.

A movie that you wish you had worked in and as what character?

As a child, I always wanted to play the super hero. Initially, I was mesmerized by the batman films. Later on, I started liking the role of the joker in that movie, so now I want to play the joker.

What is the best & the worst thing about modelling?

A lot of exposure, lots of fun; modelling is a fun thing but it is monotonous and boring too.

As a model, what do you think is required to succeed in the industry?

You need to be smart in terms of how you take your career. However, I also find that this industry is a little pseudo. People tend to get carried away by a lot of materialistic things. I am little daunted at times when people, with hardly any talent, manage to pull down the deserving men. There are some, who are just not good enough, but throw tantrum, only because they are successful.

A fashion tip that you think really works

Just wear whatever you are comfortable in and make yourself comfortable in, whatever you wear. Be confident about yourself, the clothes will automatically look good on you.

What would you ban as fashion police?

Fashion critics, a lot of stupid designers, who think they are great and people, who think they are very fashionable but actually do not dress up appropriately. Fashion is nothing, it is over hyped. It is the person who matters, not the garment.

What attracts you to a woman?

What attracts me to a woman is how she wants to get treated. I do not like over-the-top, in-the-face women. I would like someone, who is very quite and classy. Somebody, who stands for herself and knows, where to draw the line. I like women, who do not let men take them for a ride.

What is your strongest point?

I think I am quite decent and very cordial.

And what is your weakest point

I can be misled into things because I start relying on people very fast.

In order of acting how would you rate these, comedy, action, suspense and melodrama?

Action, suspense, comedy and melodrama.
