As a person... I am fun loving and sometimes emotional too.
Acting, my passion... I was a very shy teenager but was always interested in acting. I have seen my dad working on so many plays and my mom performing so many characters, so I realised acting and movies as a part of my life. I produced and acted in my own play 'Unspoken Dialogues' three years ago, paving the way for modelling and then movies.
My struggle in Bollywood... I don't have a filmy background. I have gone for so many auditions and worked hard for myself. My mother and father can make a few calls but after that I have to showcase my talent. I wanted to be launched with an 'A' grade film. I was lucky to get Rocket Singh, as it was a very special film.
My encounter with industry and its people... Whoever I have interacted with has been a pleasure to work with. The entire Yashraj team, Ranbir, Shimit and also all the people I interacted with when I was in modelling profession, have been great. I've made a lot of new friends through my work and that's one of the best parts. I believe that controversy is part and parcel of this profession and we have to accept it. I respect my parents a lot and share everything with them. They are like my friends, who always know the truth.
Love and marriage... It is too early for me to say something about love, before or after marriage. Love is very precious to me. I believe in being the best friend with the person I am in relationship. I would want someone, who understands and loves me enough to continue with my work after marriage.
My movies, my roles... The industry has shown a good response to me. Currently, I am shooting for a Telugu film opposite Chiranjeevi's son Ramcharan Teja. I am also shooting for a Tamil film. I have been getting a lot of offers from Bollywood but I am in talks for a big film.
On being a Brand Ambassador of Skechers... I have been wearing this brand for a long time. To me, it is fresh, young and fashionable. I feel amazing after being associated with such a brand that my favourite Hollywood celebrities are part of.
Wish I could do... I would love to start my own charity work. It is something that I have always wanted to do.
