Actress Yuvika is recently seen in movie Naughty @ 40 with Govinda. No matter how this movie works at box office, the bubbly girl is buoyant about her career...A good script really matters...I do not want to be a part of a big budget star-studded movie, where I have nothing to do but smiling and dancing. A good story and a vital character is my first priority. Therefore, my philosophy is to wait and watch. As soon as I get the right script and role with a talented director, I go for it.
My journey to stardom...I was doing fashion designing course in Delhi when offers of modelling started pouring in and then I got selected for Zee Cine Stars Ki Khoj. After doing many TV commercials, a serial for Zee and a music video with Himesh Reshammiya; I got a chance to be a part of Bollywood with the
Om Shanti Om of SRK.
Essentials for an actress...Labour and luck of course. There is no shortcut to success. I do not believe in overnight success. The harder you work, the luckier you get. Sex appeal can be a part of your personality or acting but merely on your sex appeal, you cannot ride over success for a long time.
No controversy, no linkup...Love or romance is not a fashion or trend, which changes in every season. For me, love is bliss and marriage is its destination. However, I do not have the time right now to get into such a situation, as I have loads of work at hand. Controversies are a part and parcel of this industry. The only way to deal with it is not to allow gossip mongers to disturb your peace of mind.
No time for serials or reality shows...Movies are my priority, no matter which language and country they belong to. I have worked for TV serial already so I have no such craze for it. Reality shows are seasonal. I am busy with my upcoming movies, so I have no time to think of anything else. However, if I do receive offers for something interesting from any other media, then I will definitely consider.
