Before putting pen to paper, I wish to croon the song, tera jadoo chal gaya…. Mowing down all bigheads’ theatrical releases, Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist has once again proved his mettle. According to reports, the approximately $ 9,000,000 budgeted movie, Ghajini, has earned around Rs. 200 crores within two weeks worldwide, making history in Indian Bollywood. The movie is still engaged in setting up new records. So bhai log, the movie’s plot revolves around a man’ revenge and his hunt for a ruthless murderer; who destroys his life by killing his girlfriend and making him a patient of anterograde amnesia. In this thrilling quest, a medical student helps him to vanquish the hunted killer.
From Aamir to Asin to Jiah Khan – everyone has done a superb job but Pradeep Rawat as Ghajini Dharmatma, the main antagonist, performed imposingly! His screen appearance and dialect are gripping and so is Rehman’s music. Guzarish, Behka, and Kaise Mujhe are foot-tapping chartbusters. Ravi K. Chandran’s cinematography is fine. He perfectly grabbed Asin’s beauty and her naughtiness, Pradeep’s insensitivity and Aamir’s anguish and rage, especially in action scenes. A.R. Murugadoss has adroitly performed the role of a captain of the ship. He and movie’s editor, Anthony didn’t allow the reign to let loose. Every frame of the movie is paisa wasool. That’s why cash registers are still ringing.
