Varun Bahl, a graduate of the National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi, launched his label in the year 2001. He showcased his Spring/Summer 2004 collection at White in Italy where his Collection was adjudged the 'Best of the Season’ from amongst 20 competing designers from all over the world.
Bahl is known for his innovative use of fabrics that he creates especially for his collections. His palette resembles that of an artist - replete with nuanced colour, texture and form - the Philharmonic Orchestra recreated in fabric. Part of the magic is the sheer sensuousness of his designs, and the other is the insouciance with which he designs them.
