The Paris Science and Industry Museum called "Cité des sciences et de l'industrie" (CSI) along with L'Oréal, the global leader in cosmetics have brought to Mumbai a fun-meets-science exhibition, ‘Decoding the Hair’.
The exhibition witnessed a memorable afternoon as Trainees of NAB (National Association for the Blind) (Department of Rehabilitation) visited the exhibition accompanied by renowned celebrity Ishaa Koppikar. Ishaa interacted with them, adding excitement and cheer to the occasion.
The trainees of NAB made distinctions between animal hair and human hair by feeling hair samples and also got to learn interesting facts about hair as they listened to audio. Ishaa Koppikar together with the trainees spent an interactive afternoon getting educated on hair whilst also having an enjoyable time.
Speaking on the occasion, Ishaa Koppikar said, "It's a special moment for me to be part of L'Oreal's initiative to spread awareness about the science and research behind hair care and hair care products. It has indeed been a heart-warming experience to be with the trainees of 'National Association for the Blind' as I saw them experience and learn all about Hair."
The Assistant Director, NAB Rehabilitation Department, Asha Bhatia appreciated L'Oreal for inviting the trainees at the exhibition. “It was indeed a fun and unique learning experience for them," added Ms. Bhatia.
L'oreal ‘Decoding the Hair’ exhibition is in India after its success in Europe, China, Taiwan, Latin America and several other countries since 2001. 'Decoding the Hair has been seen by more than 1.5 million visitors in famous science centers across 12 countries in the world.
Launched on 18th December 2008 and continuing till 28th February 2009, the exhibition has had the highest number of footfalls in India only after China, with an average of more than 2000 visitors coming per day at the Nehru Science Centre.
