FNP - TahilianiHere are some tips to keep in mind for flowers arrangements:
  • Always make a plan keeping in view the occasion, display area and colours of the flowers.
  • Purchase flowers as per your plan and requirements. Cut the stems and soak these in a water container.
  • The arrangement should be started by establishing three lines with a base flower or sturdy foliage. These lines should establish the height, width and depth. No other material should extend beyond the boundary formed by these lines.
  • Keep buds and small blooms at the top and sides, the largest and brightest at the centre of the arrangement.
  • Place the smaller flower separately from the longer ones so that they do not clash with one another.
  • Use leaves, moss and other foliage as fillers for locations. Step back frequently from your arrangement to view it.
  • Hide as many stems with foliage as you can. If the stem is part of the design, do not cause too much confusion by crossing stems in opposite directions.
  • Cover foam, tape or other holders with stone, moss or foliage. Highlight flowers with individual beauty by placing them in front of dark green leaves.
  • Keep the design symmetrical and balanced.
No doubt, the magnificent look of elegant and colourful flowers will spread a feeling of pleasure all around and will bring life to the décor.
