The way to a man's heart might be through his stomach but a woman's palate appreciates a well-dressed man. However, a good dressing sense alone not influences a woman; there are others things too, which a modern woman observes closely while meeting a man.

Shoes
'Judge a man by his shoes', is an age old saying, but still many women believe in this. A nice pair of leather shoes with clean looks, represents the confidence and class of a man. However, it does not mean that you have to buy expensive shoes to be the centre of attraction but keep them clean and polished, if you are going to attend a ceremony or a public event. Tattered and untidy shoes blink carelessness and misfortune. Remember fashion flows from head to toe. Thus, pay as much attention to your shoes as you do to your clothes.

Watches

Perfume
According to a research at the Monell Chemical Senses Centre America, women in comparison to men have much sharper smelling powers and body odour in men is stronger and harder to cover up than in women. So next time, when you are going to meet a woman in your best suit, double check your body odour, to avoid any embarrassing situation. "Perfume is considered an essential part of the body accessories for men as body odour is a big turn off. You need to be very careful while making a choice. It should be based on the social stratum of the man and occasion they are going for. Today buying a perfume is just like buying clothes for men as it enhances the charm of well dressed man and also attracts the opposite sex," says Vandy Mehra, director and designer, Study By Janak.

Personal hygiene
Pay proper attention to your personal hygiene, which includes your health also. Ensure that you are clean shaven; have a neat haircut; clean teeth without bad breath, clean hands and feet. Avoid dirty and long fingernails and toenails.  Get into the habit of cutting your nails regularly and keeping your hands clean. "Personal hygiene is important for many reasons but job demand, self confidence and partner's expectation insist today's men to take compulsory care. Handsome men have more opportunity. Therefore, not only celebrities but corporatists, industrialists, banker, and builders also want to look their best. Brain and beauty combination has surplus advantage over only a brainy man," says Dr Ashwini Padmawar, Dermatologist, Cosmetologist and Laser Surgeon, Mumbai.

Fitness
According to American health centre for behaviour, women get easily attracted to a healthy and muscular guy. Fit men draw more attention from women than do unfit men. Women want to be closer to such men, who they feel would offer them protection. A fit man enjoys better health and remains active with age. Thus, treat your body like a baby and avoid unhygienic habits which can further distort your body shape. Keep yourself healthy and fit by exercises and a balanced diet to boost your immune system. After all, we need a healthy body to flaunt all the fashionable things.
