Don't forget that your smile is your Masterpiece. So, take care of yourself and your loved ones with good dental care that can provide you with whiter teeth and sparkling smile and can bring your loved ones closer. In this beautiful, crisp winters when you must be sipping your hot tea with pakoras and other snacks, your teeth send a twinge of discomfort! Which stops you from having it? If you are realizing it frequently then don't ignore that means you have sensitive teeth. Teeth sensitivity concerns when your tooth starts experiencing hot or cold drinks or ice creams or even when you brush from cold water.

Brush your teeth at least twice a day: Don't rush, when you brush. Take proper time to do it thoroughly. Brush at least for 2 minutes because in winters dry mouth can leads to bad breath and this bad breath may not take you far from your family and friends.

Keep your brush clean: Always rinse your toothbrush with water after brushing and allow it to air dry until it is used again. Store your toothbrush in an upright position, if your toothbrush resides on the sink, which is next to the toilet, find it a new location! Each time you flush the toilet, the flush releases germs into the air, which end up landing right on your toothbrush. Don't encourage the growth of bacteria by routinely covering your toothbrushes or storing them in closed containers. Always replace your brush at least once in 3-4 months.

Go on a white-teeth diet: In parties you must be quaffing red wine and black tea, smoking cigarettes or cigars, expects the results to show up as not-so-pearly whites. Other culprits to blame for dingy teeth include colas, gravies, and dark juices. Brush immediately after eating or drinking foods that stain teeth and use a good bleaching agent, either over-the-counter or in the dentist's office. For convenient teeth-cleaning action, eat an apple.

Eat right foods: Winters is a season of fruits and green vegetables. So you should have green vegetables and fruits as it can keep u as well as your tooth healthy. Foods that are firm or crisp help clean teeth as apples (otherwise known as nature's toothbrush); other choices include raw carrots, celery, and popcorn. For best results, make 'detergent' foods the final food you eat in your meal if you know you won't be able to brush your teeth right after eating or 3-4 times a day.

Stay fresh: To check the freshness of your breath, lick your palm and smell it while it's still wet. If you smell something, it's time for a sugar-free breath mint. Shopping for mouthwash? Make sure it is alcohol-free. Most over-the-counter mouthwashes have too much alcohol, which can dry out the tissues in your mouth, making them more susceptible to bacteria.
